1. General Conditions

1.1 Velvet Myst provides aesthetic cosmetic services, including:

• Camouflage tattooing

• Stretch mark and scar camouflage

• PMU for lips, brows, and freckles

• Online and in-person consultations

1.2 All services are performed in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards required in Montréal and Québec.
1.3 Velvet Myst reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including contraindications, safety concerns, non-compliance, or inappropriate behavior.

2. Eligibility for Services

2.1 You must be 18 years or older.
2.2 You must provide accurate personal, medical, and skin condition information during consultations and forms.
2.3 Velvet Myst may refuse service if:

• You have contraindications (skin diseases, recent cosmetic treatments, pregnancy, certain medications, etc.)

• Your stretch marks or scars are less than 10–12 months old

• Your condition is not suitable for PMU or camouflage tattooing

• You fail to follow pre-care or post-care instructions

2.4 Some procedures require you to sign a Consent & Release Form before treatment.

3. Consultation Policy

3.1 Velvet Myst offers online and in-person consultations.
3.2 During consultations, we review:

• Your skin tone and area to be treated

• Contraindications

• Eligibility and expectations

• Procedure steps and possible outcomes

3.3 A consultation does not guarantee eligibility for treatment.
3.4 Consultation fees are non-refundable. They may be applied toward your procedure when eligible.

4. Booking & Deposit Policy

4.1 All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to reserve the date and time.
4.2 Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your procedure.
4.3 No appointment is confirmed until the deposit is received.
4.4 If you miss your appointment or cancel, the deposit is not refunded.
4.5 Rescheduling is allowed only within the timeframe stated on the booking page (typically 48 hours).
4.6 Frequent last-minute cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

5. Payments

5.1 Velvet Myst accepts payments through the methods listed on the booking system.
5.2 All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
5.3 Final payment is due at the time of service.
5.4 All sales are final. Due to the nature of cosmetic tattooing and PMU services, no refunds are issued once a procedure is performed.

6. Results & Expectations

6.1 Camouflage tattooing and PMU results vary depending on:

• Skin type

• Age

• Healing response

• Aftercare compliance

• Lifestyle and sun exposure

• Medical conditions

6.2 Velvet Myst does not guarantee a specific result, color match, texture match, or level of coverage.
6.3 Multiple sessions may be required.
6.4 Touch-ups, enhancements, and follow-up sessions are billed separately unless stated in writing.

7. Contraindications & Client Responsibility

7.1 You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, including but not limited to:

• Autoimmune disorders

• Diabetes

• Recent surgeries

• Keloids or hypertrophic scarring tendencies

• Skin inflammation

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding

• Accutane or retinoid use

• Blood-thinning medications

7.2 Failure to disclose medical history may result in:

• Complications

• Unsatisfactory results

• Service refusal

• Liability limitations

7.3 You agree to follow all pre-care and post-care instructions provided before and after your appointment.

8. Photos & Media

8.1 Before-and-after photos are taken for safety, documentation, and quality control.
8.2 With your explicit consent, photos may be used for:

• Training

• Advertising

• Website display

• Social media

8.3 You may decline photo release. Declining does not affect your service.

9. Account, Login, & Website Use

9.1 Users may create an account to access booking history, consultations, or documents.
9.2 You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

• All activity under your account

• Updating your personal information

9.3 Velvet Myst may suspend your account for misuse or suspicious activity.
9.4 Website content—including text, images, videos, and designs—is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, or use content without permission.

10. Refund & Rescheduling Policy

10.1 Deposits are non-refundable.
10.2 Consultation fees are non-refundable.
10.3 Procedure payments are non-refundable once performed.
10.4 If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.
10.5 Rescheduling must follow the rules stated at booking (typically within 48 hours).
10.6 No-shows result in loss of deposit and may require a new deposit to rebook.

11. Health, Safety & Liability

11.1 Velvet Myst follows all Montréal and Québec sterilization, hygiene, and studio safety standards.
11.2 Despite best practices, procedures involve risks, including but not limited to:

• Allergic reactions

• Infections

• Pigment changes

• Scarring

• Uneven results

• Color mismatch

11.3 By booking, you acknowledge these risks.
11.4 Velvet Myst is not responsible for complications caused by:

• Failure to follow aftercare instructions

• Pre-existing conditions

• Sun exposure

• Improper skincare products

• Other cosmetic treatments performed elsewhere

11.5 You agree to sign our Consent & Liability Release Form before any procedure.

12. Refusal of Service

Velvet Myst reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

• The client behaves aggressively or disrespectfully

• The client insists on procedures deemed unsafe

• The client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• The client provides false or incomplete information

• The client is not medically suitable for the service

13. Intellectual Property

13.1 All website content, logos, text, images, videos, and design elements belong to Velvet Myst.
13.2 Unauthorized use, reproduction, or modification is prohibited.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Québec law:

Velvet Myst is not liable for any:

• Indirect or incidental damages

• Loss of income

• Emotional distress

• Results that differ from expectations

• Reactions or complications from treatment

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the website and services.

15. Amendments to Terms

Velvet Myst may update these Terms periodically.
